Step 2: Pass the lab exam

The CCIE Service Provider lab exam is an 8-hour hands-on exam, which requires a candidate to configure, optimize, diagnose, and troubleshoot a series of complex network scenarios for a given specification based on dual stack solutions (IPv4 and IPv6).
First date to test: April 27, 2020
This 8-hour hands-on lab exam covers the end-to-end lifecycle of complex service provider networks, from designing and deploying to operating and optimizing.
There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE Service Provider, but you should have a thorough understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam.
CCIE candidates are recommended to have five to seven years of experience with designing, deploying, operating and optimizing service providertechnologies and solutions prior to taking the exam.
